I've added free shipping to the sale, so that actually makes the bass price somewhere in the area of $370-ish with shipping. A great deal for this nice bass!
Greetings Fellow TB'ers. I have a used KSD Proto J for sale. I bought it during Christmas time and have found I prefer my Ibanez for compact transport and tone controls.
This bass is beautiful, I guess I'm just not a J bass type of guy anymore. I talked myself into buying this one after GASing for it for a while.
There is a small ding on the right side of the body, right where your forearm would sit while you play. I did sand it down a bit, and now I hardly notice it. It should be professionally refinished on that one small dent though. Or, if you don't care, leave it. The sanding makes it almost unnoticeable.
I don't have a picture now but I will later today of the small ding.
The bass sounds excellent and it plays like butter. It's much more like an old broken in, well taken care of bass. I was surprised how well the frets and neck were built on the bass. I was able to get the action pretty low with absolutely no fret buzz. It plays like a dream, but I have my eye on another Ibanez lefty so sadly this one has to go. I don't have a lot of space to work with.

I will make sure the bass is very clean and well packed. It came to me in a very heavy duty box that I saved in a warm dry location.
I'm estimating shipping to be about $75-80 from Alaska insured to the Lower 48. It would be cool if someone in Alaska bought it!
Thanks for looking. Please PM me with any questions.
