Grand Seiko SBGR019
This is a crazy sale. It has taken me forever to track this down
but due to circumstances I have to let it go......
This watch in my opinion is the nicest and most unique of designs
from Grand Seiko. As always the attention to detail is just mind
boggling. You could talk about its individual points all day long
and you still could not have scratched the surface of what makes
this watch a true classic. Just love the Art Deco numbers at 12 & 6
As you can see the condition is excellent, with only some superficial
marks on the case - but hardly anything of note. Comes with the original
bracelet, which in itself is a work of art and has the reputation of
being the finest bracelet put out by GS. As regular visitors probably
know by now I am still not a bracelet person and have it matched to this
vintage minimal stitched brown leather strap. Wears nice and comfortable
and looks exceptional.
What you see in the pictures is what you will get - both straps.
I found this video of the white dial version that explains in detail the
finer points of this timepiece. The Black version is so rare that
it is difficult to find anything else. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5AdIMSMQqZ8
The watch is keeping time within the rated -3/+5 per
second per day accuracy
Screw down crown w/ 200m water resistance rating
Black carbon mesh dial
The hands feature the exquisite Zaratsu polishing all done by hand.
26 jewel automatic 9S55 movement that can also be manually wound and hacks.
Drilled lugs that makes changing straps a breeze
Crystal Sapphire. Probably the best AR coating there is, you dont even
know it has a crystal!
Size 39mm exc crown
I have priced it very well, there is only one other that I came across
which is nearly another 1K above my asking price. So this is a great deal.
