This gorgeous WWII flieger pilot's watch reissue has one of the most interesting "hidden gem" backstories of the watch world. The US Army started testing it in 1944 with the idea that dual bezels would allow pilots to measure elapsed time for a fraction of the cost of a true chronograph, yet for whatever reason, it never made it into production past the 500 original test units, until Bulova recreated it a few years ago with a Sellita SW200 under the dial and a stunning boxed and domed sapphire crystal to top it off.
40mm case diameter
18mm lug width
$600 shipped within CONUS, inquire for international. Comes with full kit EXCEPT the original 16mm buckle, used it on a different watch a while ago and can't find it now. Have plenty of positive feedback between here and WUS. No trades please, found an attainable grail for my upcoming 21st I'm saving for.
